Returns & Refund Policy

At Huiarau Range, we are committed to providing high-quality products and customer satisfaction. Our returns and refund policy is in line with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and is designed to protect your rights as a consumer while also ensuring a fair and efficient process for any returns.

1. Consumer Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, consumers have the right to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if the product they purchased is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose upon delivery. These rights cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by our policy.

2. Returns of Faulty or Defective Products
If the product you purchased is faulty, damaged, or not as described upon delivery, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA.
We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the fault and the product condition.
Please notify us as soon as possible if there is an issue with the product, and we may require the product to be returned to assess the fault.

3. Change of Mind
We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind purchases unless specified in specific product categories.
However, in some cases, we may offer an exchange or store credit as a goodwill gesture. Please contact within 10-14 days of receiving your order for assistance.

4. Eligibility for a Refund, Repair, or Replacement
To be eligible for a refund, repair, or replacement under the CGA, the product must have been purchased directly from Huiarau Range and must be returned with proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order number).
The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging, and any relevant documentation must accompany it.

5. Process for Returning an Item
If you need to return a product, please contact us at huiaraurange@gmail.com to request an authorization.
We will provide you with a returns authorization number and details on how to return the product.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product unless the product is deemed faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Once we receive the returned product and confirm the issue, we will process a repair, replacement, or refund based on the applicable remedy under the CGA.

6. Non-Returnable Products
Certain items may not be eligible for return or refund, including:
Customized or personalized items.
Items that have been used, worn, or damaged after delivery unless faulty.
•All sales & seconds/ clearance are final sales and cannot be returned for a refund. 

7. Shipping & Handling Costs
For faulty items, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
For change-of-mind returns, the customer will bear the cost of return shipping.

8. Refund Process
Once your return is approved, we will process the refund within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
